Richland Hills Church of Christ

Generous Living Ministry

The Generous Living Ministry exists to equip and encourage one another along our journeys of generosity. As followers of Christ, generosity is truly the appropriate response to what He has done for us. For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich. (2 Corinthians 8:9). Not only is generosity the appropriate response, it is the most joyful response and it propels us to live the life God created us to live. Command those who are rich in this present world…to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share…so they may take hold of the life that is truly life. (1 Timothy 6:17-19)

If you find yourself on a journey of generosity, no matter where that may be, we want to meet you where you are and spur you along on your journey. Please contact Rick Carder for more information.

Where are you on your journey?
Like many, you may have never intentionally given yourself an assessment of where you are on your journey of generosity. We encourage you to download the following guide created by the nonprofit organizations Generous Giving and The National Christian Foundation.

In need of financial guidance?

Many of us were educated and equipped to earn money and have a career but nobody ever explained how to manage the money. If you find yourself wanting to be more responsible with what God has entrusted to you and desiring to live more generously but you do not know how, please contact Carl Grassl. He will arrange for you to meet one-on-one with one of our budget coaches who will love you, encourage you and equip you with practical biblically founded financial guidance.
