What is Breaking the Barriers?

Breaking the Barriers is a ministry to and with individuals with disabilities. Our mission is to "break the barriers" that prevent unity among all of God's children by providing a service, a place to belong and an opportunity to minister to and with individuals with disabilities. We believe in a model of ministry that involves inclusion for all.

If your child needs assistance during Bible class, a Velcro Buddy can be assigned to work with your child. Children and young adults with severe cognitive delays and/or who have medically fragile conditions have the option of a separate class and worship hour designed to meet their needs. Teachers trained to work with all students lead this class using specialized curriculum designed to teach God's truths and enable all to grow in their relationship with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
